jom masak

jom memasak bersama2 Chef Nuna @.@...try gak search kt internet sbb bimbang ade campuran benda2 x sepatutnya...yang ni proceed..sbb lam cte korea byk sgt nih..try lowhh...

There are many types of kimchi eaten in Korea. Baechu kimchi, the most common variety, is made with Chinese cabbage. To make a batch of baechu kimchi:

  1. 5 heads of Chinese cabbage
  2. 2-3 heads of garlic
  3. 3 cups of salt
  4. 2 cups of red pepper powder [see below]
  5. 1-2 knobs of ginger

Red pepper powder (kochukaru in Korean), a coarse powder of chili pepper flakes, can be found in any store selling Korean foodstuffs. It is made from a pepper of medium heat. If using a hotter pepper, use less (but kimchi is supposed to be spicy)!

Wash the Chinese cabbage well, remove the outermost leaves and trim off the root. Traditionally, the heads are split lengthwise, and made into kimchi in this form. I recommend cutting the cabbage into smaller pieces, as follows:

After splitting lengthwise, cut out a bit of the solid mass near the root. Laying halves flat side down, make 3 lengthwise cuts along each half. Then chop widthwise into one inch wide sections.

Place the chopped cabbage into a large bowl or basin. Take 2 cups of the salt and make a brine with 15 or so cups of water. Pour the saltwater over the cabbage, and mix well.

Let this stand for at least one hour.

Chop up garlic and ginger. The amount you use is up to you. I never use exact amounts...and I've always enjoyed the result, even if it sometimes comes out more gingery or garlicy or spicy than usual.

The only thing you really need to make kimchi is the salt: since this is a raw food, a certain amount of salt is needed to pickle and preserve the cabbage.

Mix the garlic, ginger, 1.5 or so cups of red pepper and the remaining 1 cup of salt with a half cup or so of water. Mix it well. Your mixing hand will start to tingle. Relish this sensation.

Once the cabbage has soaked for an hour in brine, drain off all of the liquid, then rinse the cabbage and drain again well.

Mix the paste from above into the cabbage.Mix it all up well, until the paste coats the cabbage evenly.

Mix it up some more!

Once it's thoroughly mixed, place the mixture into very clean containers. Fill containers close to the rim.

If there is some red liquid left over, pour it into each container. You don't want any air pockets in the kimchi containers, and you do want the cabbage to soak in this kimchi juice.

Clean off the lips of the containers, and put on lids. Do NOT tighten lids too hard. Let the containers sit at room temperature for 2-3 days, and as they begin to ferment, air will bubble out and containers may leak a bit.

Traditionally, kimchi is put into ceramic crocks and buried in the earth. You can put yours in the fridge. At fridge temperature, it will continue to slowly pickle, getting more tangy with time.

You did it! You made your own kimchi! Enjoy.

here's some tips for parents to avoid this :

How can you protect your child?

We can do a lot to prepare our children for some of the dangers in life, but unfortunately, we cannot always stop bad things happening to them. We try to protect our children from being hit by a car and so we teach them road safety, (without scaring them with all the gory details and making them so frightened that they won’t cross a road). In the same way we can try to protect our children from the dangers of pedophiles.

  • Be suspicious if an adult seems more interested in spending time with your child than with you. It might be that he or she offers to look after your child, or wants to be alone with your child or take your child on a holiday.
  • Be wary of people who are overly kind, affectionate or loving towards your child or who give your child lots of gifts. Remember, most people have good intentions, so don't jump to conclusions.
  • Be very choosy about leaving your children with others. Ask them how they feel about being cared for by that person. Try to work out what your child is saying with his behaviour - this is how very young children can tell us if they are afraid or upset.
  • Teach your children about different parts of the body and which are their own private parts. Advise them to tell someone they trust if anyone, even someone they know very well, tries to touch their private parts or suggests something they don’t want to do which makes them feel scared or bad. You could look at the Kid's Health topic 'Keeping yourself safe' for ideas about how to talk about this with your child.
  • Children need to know it's important to keep on telling someone until they are taken seriously.
  • Teach your children to try and get away as quickly as possible from any person who makes them feel uncomfortable or frightened and to then tell people they trust about what has happened.
  • Teach your children never to keep secrets that make them feel uncomfortable or bad. Always listen to your children and trust what they say even if you are shocked by it. Act upon the information so your child feels supported by you.
  • Teach your children that adults are not always right. This will help them if a pedophile tells them the abuse is okay and not to tell anyone.
  • Teach your children about some of the dangers in using on-line chat rooms (internet). Explain why you are concerned. Find out how you can have more control with your children's use of the internet.
  • Children should always go to and from school with their parents or other children if possible.
  • Teach your children never to go into public toilets alone. It is also wise for children at school to go to school toilets during breaks rather than alone during a lesson.
  • Teach children to always tell you where they are going. If they are followed or frightened they should knock on the nearest door and ask for the Police to be called. Many children have a mobile - make sure they have two or three adults' phone numbers if they can't get you.
  • Always answer your children’s questions honestly and at a level that they can understand, even if you are embarrassed.

*pedophiles are attracted to children, and children only. They show little erotic interest in adults their own age

6/10-Othros No Inu

siapa la aku untuk bercakap pasal manga...bukan la penuh ilmu dada sangat pun tp stakat tgk live action tu leh story mory sikit. Tarikan pertama drama ni ofkos la pelakon utamanya Hideaki and Nikishido..haiya-top list A-rate actor kt japan..bla dua org ade lam satu cte ni pastinya cite ni mmg psiko habes.

something worth fighting for

lagu ni betul2 inspirational bg aku...for a fighter..not in a war but in humankind..

Do you know what's worth fighting for,
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away
And you feel yourself suffocating?
Does the pain weigh out the pride?
And you look for a place to hide?
Did someone break your heart inside?
You're in ruins

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I

When you're at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
Your faith walks on broken glass
And the hangover doesn't pass
Nothing's ever built to last
You're in ruins.

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I

Did you try to live on your own
When you burned down the house and home?
Did you stand too close to the fire?
Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone

When it's time to live and let die
And you can't get another try
Something inside this heart has died
You're in ruins.

One, 21 guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, 21 guns
Throw up your arms into the sky,
You and I

p/s: Mulanya aku takut ngan lagu ni..bimbang ia mempunyai maksud tersirat..i just hope its all about 21 guns salute..
